Professional Print Design Service

At UK Printing Solutions we offer a professional and cost effective in-house design service for all of our print products, if you do not have print ready artwork and would like us to design something eye catching for your business, or copy an existing design in a print ready format, then you have come to the right place.

What do I need to provide?

All prices for design quoted online are based on you supplying the following:

You will need to provide a detailed design brief explaining exactly what you need including any specific design requirements (if any), such as preferred fonts or colours.
You will also need to provide all text/copy that you wish to have displayed on your artwork in the form of a word document, e-mail or similar.
We will also need your logo (if you have one) and any photographs/images that you wish to have displayed, these must all be supplied in high resolution (minimum of 300dpi), if you have your logo in vector format then this is even better, vector files usually end in .ai or .eps.

If you have no ideas as to what you require and need some guidance then don’t worry, get in touch and we will help you with any question you may have.

I have no photographs/images to supply, can you help?

Of course, we have access to a database with over 1,000,000 royalty free photographs/images that we can use in your design, all photographs/images will be of high resolution and perfect for print. Typically prices are in the region of £5-£10 per photograph/image depending on the time taken to source them and the photograph/image required, this cost is in addition to our set design fees. All photographs/images will be shown to the customer for approval prior to purchase or use in any artwork.

I have my design in a Word document/Publisher file, do I still have to pay for design?

Artwork created in any of the Microsoft programs such as Word or Publisher will not be print ready files, this will be the same response from all commercial printers, however, it may still be possible to get your artwork print ready so get in touch and we will advise you.

UK Printing Solutions Branding.

Unless otherwise stated, all items designed by UK Printing Solutions will carry our brand. This ensures our brand is recognised and helps keep our costs low as our advertising. If you wish to not carry our brand, an additional charge of £25.00 will be added to your design invoice.

What we will do with your supplied artwork..

Check that the size is correct.
Check that no images are missing.
Check that no fonts are missing.
Go to print if these items are OK.
Notify you if they are not and wait for your new file.

What we DON’T do with your artwork.

Check anything else.
Provide you with a proof, unless requested. This may incur an extra charge.
Refund, or reprint the file, if it fails as a result of not following all of the advice in our guide.
